Majani Fondente Extra Dark 70% cacao
Quite sweet, rich in cocoa flavor. The texture of the bar of rough, almost as though the bar included cocoa nibs. There are no nibs that I can pinpoint. The bar states that it was made with pure cane sugar, so perhaps I am tasting sugar crystals? It's an unusual style -- at this tasting, I'm not loving it. 6.2

Mast Brothers The Brooklyn Blend 74% cacao
Quite a burst of flavor on first taste. Cherry, citrus, nutmeg, it all seems to be there. This bar's label says that it is "Made with a beautiful blend of cacao from all around the world." The blend is successful and memorable. 9.1

Kallari Ecuador 75% cacao
Strong, yet very flavorful. Faint citrus and less faint cherry flavors. Bitter, yes, but balanced with the rich cocoa flavor. A gentle aftertaste. 7.9

Bloomsberry DARK 55% cocoa
This bar is all about it's label, "DARK". It looks somewhat like the old "generic" foods you'd see in grocery stores way back when. There are almost no words on the label to distract you from DARK. Well, one string of text on the front informs us that this bar has 55% cocoa, so it's not that dark.
The taste is above average for a low cocoa content semi-sweet bar. There are some side flavors noticeable, some citrus and cherry notes. Noticeable chalkiness and a very rapidly declining aftertaste. 6.9
