This bar is astringent, but has nice flavors. Some plum and cherry, with a slight dose of licorice. Smooth aftertaste, where the puckishness trails off quickly. 8.8
From the label: "These beans were grown on the steep, tropical hillsides of the Alta Verapaz region of Guatemala. Cahabón are the largest beans we've ever worked with, and while developing the roast profile, Cody was excited to find that they pack an enormous punch of flavor to match their size. In this batch, we taste rich chocolate cookies with hints of walnut and a liquid caramel finish."
